it is a bay window seat, most likely early, so technically it is correct for neither a '63 or a '67...however, it fits well in a split bus and is about 1/15 of the price of a split middle...it is pictured in my '63 kombi and you can see that if fits well and is securely fastened using the original kombi wingnuts and floor mounts...I no longer need it because I installed a 2/3 seat which works better with my walk through
I live in Long Beach, New York...I would prefer not to ship, but I think shipping would be $100 plus via greyhound freight...I can deliver to the all aircooled gathering in NJ next weekend

Bus Middle Seat - folding middle seat Price: 100 Bay middle seat no longer needed in my split window Kombi. Fold down folding seat back option. Decent condition, with some loose piping and a few taped rips. One area of approximately 8x10 (?) on lower part of seat has is securely covered by black tape. Good candidate for recovering, run as is, or throw a blanket over it. Unsure of date, but seems to be from an earlier bay. Fits well in split window bus. Local pick up only or possible delivery to NY / NJ / CT show. Thanks for checking.

looking for an estimate on what it would cost to replace my engine with another VW engine...is this something that could be accomplished at home by someone used to swapping air cooled engines?
to clarify...I'm talking about installation labor, not engine cost

the guy lives in Lido...his westy looked exactly like the one that I parked by at the Pt. Lookout show...note I wrote "if in fact it was yours"...I hear from a direct source that the van in question was a total loss and it had recently had the fuel lines replaced...

I heard your van caught on fire last week and was a total loss...sorry to hear that (if it was, in fact, yours)...any additional information or photos? mine is parked while awaiting the van cafe fuel line replacement kit... took a ride in my 86 westy, plenty of american classics there. beautful fall day to be outside. silver bug parked next to me in lot

pretty good turnout and a nice show...I parked the 77 in the lot and walked over to the show area..a few buggies, street rods, a super, and some convertibles, plus a weird custom body hot rod mini-panel van on a bug chassis and engine, no buses...mainly American cars from the 50s and 60s, with a few nice examples from the 30s...the 1930 R.E.O. was the most interesting
