On A sad note
« on: January 30, 2011, 07:20:59 PM »
I want everyone to know, my friend and yours lost his son this week. The Great Gnome of the Locks lost his son to a courageous battle with cancer. If you stop by this site you will know him as the Red Baron, or the one that made the River talk of this site! If you read this please take a moment Feb 1 at 7:00 pm and bow your head to honor his son, and his Mother and Father. God Bless you Nevin and Sue Jane, all my Love Rich aka The Con Kid

Hold tight to memories for comfort,
lean on your friends for strength,
and always remember how much you two are cared about.

Our sincere thanks to all for your condolences and prayers for the loss of our son this past January 25th.
We're up and running full bore again despite the 81" of snow here. With the snow melt this spring in Vermont and New England, the West River should be "Top Shelf" for tubing with no scraped bottoms.

So, Get the "Ice" out of your Westy ( And other places ) and as they say "Let's go Camping!"

West River Westies VII, on the West River at Bald Mountain Campground, Townshend, VT. July 15 - 17, 2011.

Everyone is Welcome and we'll see you on "The River".

Nev and Sue

I am very sorry to bring more bad news. But a very good friend of the Volkswagon and Limbo site has past on. Mike King of Buses by the Buoy fame past away Feb 10 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. He has done a great job for the last 11 years hosting the Buoy, and was a great man. My heart goes out to Sheila his wife for standing by him. I for one will miss Mike Love too Sheila all my love Rich AKA The Con Kid
