to all hello.<br>i have fell in love with a 91 vanagon that is for sell .<br>guy wonts $2500  and if any one should know what to look for on one, you guys should be the ones to ask .<br>the van has 135000 miles on it  has had the head reworked  in 03 . what do i need to look for and how easy is it to get parts the vw dealer is 70 miles away ?<br>thanks in advance  ashley. :)

Parts are pretty easy on-line there is<br><br>www.busdepot.com<br>www.vanagain.com<br>http://www.van-cafe.com/<br>www.gowesty.com<br><br>I can't give you a check list of specific items except -The heads are the number one thing mechanically speaking, but there is use of the proper (phosphate-free) coolant, water hoses, (plenty of them! - when were they changed.  To do all is over $350 in parts, and seam rust.<br><br>see www.vanagon.com for more info.<br><br>Happy trails<br>John<br>
