Hello All,

This is my first post. We own a 1984 UK Wedge Brick which has taken us all over Europe.

It has developed an oil leak from one of the pushrod tubes underneath the engine.

I looked at the manual and it seems that the head will have to come off to replace the tube. Is this correct?

Is a job like this DIYable or is it best left to a specialist? The gasket and cylinder liner arrangement are making me a little nervous.

Are there any other techniques available to repair a leaky tube rather than replacing it?

Thanks for your help!

Peter
