North of Highland, Truro, MA

Our favorite place to camp is North of Highland campground in Truro, MA
www.capecodcamping.com
We usually do two weeks every August and have a wonderful time. There's no electric (unless you are a full or half-season camper) and no campfires (we just go to the Truro town beach for nighttime fires).

The whole campground is very clean, well run and caters mostly to tents and pop-up campers. The showers are especially nice and you can walk or bike a short way to beautiful ocean side beaches. They also have a reasonably priced camp store, laundry room, and a recreation room with ping pong, fooseball and a nice fireplace.
We are planning to be there again next year during the first two weeks of August.

Stan Wohlfarth
aka. We stayed at this campground for 3 nights in June '03. It is a great campground for families. Be sure to bring the bikes along. There are two beaches 1/2 mile down the road and there are great paths/roads to ride the 6 miles to Provincetown (so you don't have to pack up the camper).
We will be back another year.
