I have tried this multiple times. Using high temp aerosol paints. In my opinion it makes you feel good for about 6 months until it begins to rust. I have done it with brand new exhaust, sandblasted exhausts, and chemical rust removers on old exhausts. I will never waste my time doing it again. The solution is better metal such as a stainless alloy like the Japanese manufactures use, or like Frank Condelli's replacement exhausts. Or just replace them when they rot out!

its a waste of time and money, i did my whole system and the first time you drive it it smokes like a mofo, then flakes off a few weeks/months later, not worth the effort, Rustoleum BBQ paint works the best, keeps it black and is cheap ...Joe
