A friend of a friend offered to sell me his 1984 Westy. I already have a 1985 with a new engine swap, and don’t need to take on another project. I am new to this site, and only see this forum as a place to post ads. I have photos, and will try to post, or will send upon request.
The van has not been on the road for 4 years. After significant work to make it road worthy, after the first 500 milers, it developed a coolant leak near the head, and the owner got disalusioned and parked it. It has new rear brakes, decent tires, full set of factory mud flap. Looks like the left rocker was replaced. Interior is in decent shaft with some signfican wear on the drive seat cushions. Reportedly has 230k ish miles on the clock, and has some spots of body rust and seam rust.
He is entertaining offers, and I just want to see to back in action, and not setting and deteriorating.
