The Mother of All Modifications---A Vanaboat

This has got to be the Mother of all Modifications to a Vanagon!!!!!He fastened a propeller on the engine shaft and built a hull around the body. He and two other guys, one in a Toyoda and one in an English Hearld set out to cross the English Channel. Unfortunately, the Hearld and the Vanaboat didn't make it and sank.

Looks like he needed just a bit more boat.  Its setting pretty low in the water.
