Favorite spots to camp in Colorado

Pingree park
25 miles up the poudre canyon from Fort Collins, Co. Turn torwards the sign that says, "pingree park" anywhere you can park is free game. This area is National Forest Service land... their rules apply.

Rock Creek
3 miles from Allenspark, Co Located on highway 7. Head thru allenspark, turn on the "co ski road" This road takes you on an unimproved (boulders / ruts / 4wd road) dirt road which continues for some time. There is a creek to the left which has many camp sites located along it. All are free, most have fire pits & lots of big shade trees. Also National Forest Service Land.

Camp Dick
Located near Allenspark, CO on the Peak To Peak Highway. Pass Peacefull valley, turn torwards sign that says Camp Dick. Improved camping sites with concrete spaces and nice tent pads. $12 per night.
