With the arrival of Daylight Savings Time and the arrival of Spring, many of us will be traveling somewhere, whether it be a short trip to visit a friend or relative or a long vacation trip.
There is a new online travel planner available from AAA called TripTik. It is more than just maps and directions and you can even view the locations, telephone numbers and gas prices at more than 100,000 gas stations. The online TripTik Travel Planner allows you to print detailed maps, find the most scenic routes, construction areas, attractions, places to stay and dine and even campgrounds. You don't have to be a AAA member to use it and there is even a Travel Planner Flash Demo. Try it, you'll like it.

Well Red Baron - I just went and tried it out. Not too bad - but I will likely get a TripTik from the office before I go. But this is nice to chase down hotel/campgrounds in an area that you might stop on your way to your destination.
I 'll use it to research the route from Smokey Mtn to New River Gorge later.
thanks!
