Therma Gasket to fix coolant leak
« on: March 13, 2008, 01:42:11 PM »
Has anyone tried the product Therma Gasket on a vanagon?
They say the guy who invented it had a vanagon with ablow head gasket and somehow made this stuff.  It's supposed to work great.
They say it won't hurt anything.

Any comments?

I ordered it, but haven't tried it yet.  Should I?

thanks

Do you have a leak?

If you've got a decent leak, I'd give it a try, what's there to loose? I don't know of the product myself, but do know that Bars Leak will frequently work to stop leaks.

If you don't have a leak, or perhaps just a cold weather drip, I'd leave it alone.

Personally, I stay away from the water-pissa Vans. I prefer air-cooled much better.
