SO i finally got my Yokos delivered & had them mounted & boy the ride is nice. D rating 8 ply they ran 79.00 per w/ mounting ended up being 569.00 total for five tires..best thing about them is they say Super Van on the side wall!! these are a viable alternative to the Hankook tires

Yes, They are good tires. The Compound may be a little soft, but are really quiet and smooth.

i took a 110 mile white mountain excursion last weekend and was very impressed with the cornering grip, no sway, i didnt have proper tires before and my bus blew around like a flag, if people passed me my bus would sway  no probs now, ive never had the Hankook brand but am happy w/ these yokos. are the hankooks more of harder compound tire?

I had Yoko's (356) on my 81 and I was happy with them. I put them on when I got the van. On my 86, I have Michelin Agilis (spelling?) and really like these.
Out of the 2, I would lean to the Michelin's, but both are good quality tires.
