CVA's Oktoberfest at Quassy.

The Connecticut Volkswagen Association put on their first "Oktoberfest Celebration" at the Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury, CT. Quassy Park is located on the shore of Lake Quassapaug and is a family owned Amusement Park dating back into the 1930's

"Wunderbar", what a great place for a Volkswagen October get-to-gether. German Cars ( not all were Volkswagens and Buses ), Music by the Fire House Polka Band and Dancing by the Harugari Junior Schuhplatters from Hamden, CT, Great German food and with that "HB Munchen" Dunkel Beer together with Bratwurst, Potato Pancakes, Sauerkraut, Onions and some hot mustard it really made for a great CVA afternoon.

Glad to see the event happened.  I had gotten an eMail saying the event was canceled due to rain.
