Looking for a VW Bus to rent - desparate Dad !
« on: March 28, 2010, 04:03:18 PM »
Looking for a 60's or 70's VW Bus to rent in NH May 21st.  My daughter is going to her Senior Prom, and it has always been a wish for her.  I am willing to pay for the bus and driver to get them to the Prom.  They will get other transportation home. It would just be two couples.  The distance from the house to the Prom is less than 10 miles.  So if you want to make a young girl happy, and you felt like a cruise up to NH, or know someone who might, please call Glenn Peters at 603-770-8250, or 603-887-3442 in Sandown, NH.

I sent your request to a couple of people, one who did the prom service before (but in Mass).  Trying!

Where in New Hampshire are you?

Im on Long Island, BUT, depending on how far North you are might be inclined to take the drive.

Drop me an email at mikeh at dasvolks dot com

Mr. LiMBO,
My daughter is also looking for a VW Bus for her senior prom. (I decided to start looking from now just to be certain of events and because I don't want her to be disapointed if it doesn't work out.) We're located less than an hour north of nyc.  Would you be able to help?

I've been in contact with Ineedabus.  It should be all set. Provided nothing happens to the bus between now and then.

I think at this point obnoxiousblue & Mr. LiMBO it depends on who is closer, more able, or who's bus is actually going to be up to it? Please update me on your availability for the upcoming May 24th or further concerns

Yes, the 25th is some district-related day off. It's this way every year so the kids have a long weekend

INEEDABUS, I just replied to your PM. Im on Long Island, and dont forsee any issues helping you out if you need. My bus is a Westy, so I'm not sure how many people you need to put in, but lets talk and see what works.

On Long Island, New York, in Suffolk County. The prom is in June, we haven't been given the exact date/time yet, but I'm going to say it's probably from around 6pm-midnight. My best friend and I have wanted a VW Bus for 12th grade prom since 6th grade, it would be greatly appreciated!
