How Many People Can Fit In or On a Vanagon?

This photo taken in Lagos, Nigeria earlier this week, shows Nigerian's voicing opposition to the governments near doubling of fuel prices. I count 16 and that doesn't include the driver or the guy who must be sitting in the second seat. You can only see his leg. That would make 18-----Man, those Vanagons can do most anything and be used for any purpose!



Here's another B/W photo that appeared in Newspapers by "pius utomi/getty-afp photo" that appears to be the same vehicle. You can barely see the stenciled name "D-Young" on the passenger door. Man, those guy's are really getting fired up over gas prices!
