The book is huge, you couldn't download that on a PDF file, it would take HOURS!   Bentley makes a CD ROM you can buy for your computer.  Why not just buy a hardcopy and throw it under the back seat?  You could probably get a used one from eBay or even Amazon cheap.  They are about 99 bucks new.

Jim's right, just buy the paper manual. Bentley doesn't currently have the paper manual on CD. We had an old version of the fiche manual on CD, but the paper manual is much more up to date, thanks to Boston Bob, others and your's truly.

Occasionally illegal electronic copies do surface, but we do our best to shut them down due to copyright violations.

I have the microfiche and believe me the printed manual is much easier to use. You can sit on the john, not so with a fiche reader.

I'm (still) in the process of taking my old copy of the Bently manual and cutting out all the apges.  Then 3-hole punch and put ina 3-ring binder the ones I would need on the road and apply to my vanagon.  i.e. no diesel, air cooled, syncro pages.  Also I really don;t need all the body info with me.  This allows one to make a smaller travel manual.

That said,, if you have a Westy, the Bently does fit under the rear cabinet.  Open hatch, side manual in under cabinet that's on your left , but still the reduced manual has less pages to sift through and will lie flat on the desired page.
