We are going to Cape May campout for the first time this year, as I have 4 day weekend due to Rosh Hashanah.
Anyone plan on attending?

We are coming----haven't made official reservations since they apparently are closing early weekdays b/c of the season being over. I will call tomorrow as they are open until 10pm. We are planning on leaving Thurs night after work (provided they let us check in late)...it takes us about 3 hours to get there. The plan is to get up Friday and head out with the kids to the zoo or something and then be back by late afternoon to hang. I can't wait to hear all about your trip!!!

We also called yesterday about the Cape May camp out. We are planing to attend. As of yesterday, only Brad & Andrea were registered to go, so Mike took my name and said I should call again next week. Bottom line, we will attend. I can't wait to hear all about your trip either. Sandy & Bob Riley

I am playing phone tag with MIke.....he's in today, but I just called and got voicemail. I left our cell phone so he can call us (we are leaving for a picnic) so hopefully we can be officially reserved by todays end! He said he will be in the office until about 5pm today. I just posted on Full Moon's site to see if anyone is coming as well.

It took me many days and playing phone tag too, to get a hold of Mike. He has rotating shifts, and was sick one day.
Anyone been to Cape May before that can offer advice on if we can easily kayak in the area (outside the campground)- in protected water area though, (as opposed to the ocean). We are thinking of bringing our kayaks.

Try this link for a local kayak club...looks like they have a forum and maybe you can find some places to go.
We finally are booked. We will be getting there late Thursday night (probably by 10pm if we leave not long after work).
See you all there!! Can't wait!

Made my reservations this past weekend. I am from the area and kayak out in Delaware Bay. Great place to paddle. What is everybody bringing for the potluck dinner?

My husband makes the best potato salad, so that's what we're bringing. Sandy
