"The Middletown (CT) Press reports that a three-foot tall ornamental garden gnome was stolen from the front lawn of a Durham home. The gnome, named "McGuirk" by the Rea family, who have owned the stature for 40 years, reportedly went missing on March 15th. The Press reports that the lantern-holding gnome statue is a town landmark of sorts, and has been painted and re-painted several times by the Reas, making positive identification difficult."
Can it possibly be that this 3 foot garden gnome was found on Long Island this past weekend?
